Who am I, and what do I do?
I am Ron Gibbs of
Gibbs Associates, an independent optical engineering consultancy specialising
in helping clients to design and develop advanced optical, electro-optical and
optical scanning systems. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce
myself, and the services I offer to businesses involved in these exciting and
challenging technologies.
Before I started my
consultancy business in 1993, I had worked for eighteen years on the design and
development of optical, electro-optical and laser systems within various
companies, after graduating from the world-renowned Applied Optics department
